The book Você Viu Meu Irmão? (Have You Seen My Brother?) tells the story of a little pig who gets separated from his siblings in a forest, surrounded by a maze of plants and unfamiliar creatures. In the illustrations, Gestalt principles such as the Figure-Ground Law and the Law of Closure were used to play with the silhouettes of various animals. The central idea is that, without his siblings, the protagonist doesn’t recognize himself as a piglet, which is why he asks every animal he meets if they are his brother.
